Christina Aguilera: “I Don’t Know Who Lady Gaga Is!”
For someone who has no idea who Lady Gaga is, Christina Aguilera sure looks a lot like her.
In a new interview with the Los Angeles Times, Max’s mama hits back at claims that she has swagger-jacked the signature style of fellow singer Lady Gaga in order to promote her new Greatest Hits album, Keeps Gettin’ Better, on sale now exclusively at Target.
What do you say to those on the Internet who are hinting that you borrowed Lady Gaga’s look?
You know, that’s funny that you mention that. This person [Lady Gaga] was just brought to my attention not too long ago. I’m not quite sure who this person is, to be honest. I don’t know if it is a man or a woman. I just wasn’t sure. I really don’t spend any time on the Internet, so I guess I live a little under a rock in that respect.

Are you serious? For anyone to even think that Christina Aguilera would try to copy Lady Gaga is ridiculous! Christina has way more talent! If you don't believe me, look at all she has done… she's sung with piano legend Herbie Hancock, she's sung with Tony Bennett, she's won 5 Grammys (one being a Latin Grammy!) Also, she has an amazing range (4 octave range I believe). Lady Gaga is only capable of making catchy songs and giving dramatic performances. I will admit, Gaga is a good performer, however, so is Christina! She reinvents herself for every album! Anyways, in short, Christina Aguilera is one of the greatest singers/performers of all time– let alone of this generation, which strays from the true heart and soul of music each day. In my opinion, Christina is one of the very few artists who provide hope for our generation musically. She keeps the soul and the funk in her music and doesn't taint it with cheap effects like Lady Gaga does.
