Christina Aguilera was among the big name stars who joined news anchor Anderson Cooper for a tribute to average Americans making extraordinary contributions in their communities during CNN’s annual “10 CNN Heroes of 2008″ ceremony at Hollywood’s Kodak Theater on Thanksgiving night.

Award presenters included Kate Beckinsale, Jessica Biel, Cameron Diaz, Salma Hayek, Terrence Howard, Selena Gomez, Hugh Jackman, Lucy Liu, Meg Ryan and Forest Whitaker.
