Star Trek’s new Captain Kirk has embarked on a new top secret mission to win the heart of a reality TV star.

Word on the Snitch Circuit claims Audrina Patridge, star of MTV’s The Hills is dating actor Chris Pine.

“Chris and his girlfriend broke up in March, and he is definitely single,” says an insider close to the pair. “They went out, and Audrina is into him.”

The couple first met at the ShoWest event in Las Vegas, where both were presented with awards. The tabloid claims the stars have been dating for weeks, and Audrina has even been spotted leaving the apartment building where Pine lives in the wee hours of the morning.

“Chris was looking at Audrina a lot, and you could tell that he thought she looked pretty.”
