Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has thrown the band’s upcoming North American tour in jeopardy after he sustained a painful injury during a recent concert rehearsal in London.

“Chris has been in absolute agony with his knee….He’s had to strap it and has been hobbling around the place. He doesn’t want to cancel the show so is going to fight through the pain barrier.”

The start of Coldplay’s Viva La Vida Tour was postponed earlier this week due to production issues, the music fest will now begin July 14th in Los Angeles.
