Chris Cuomo could soon find himself on an suspension from his hosting gig at Good Morning America after calling a member of the British royal family “expendable.”

Chris joked on Monday’s GMA that Prince Harry “has been over in Afghanistan fighting because he’s expendable.” The host was previewing an ABC special on the royals when he blurted out the controversial statement. Chris calmly reiterated the assertation after co-host Robin Roberts looked at him in horror:

“It’s true. The reason that Harry is allowed to be in Afghanistan is because he’s not the heir to the throne. William’s not allowed to be there.”
