Hot-tempered R&B star Chris Brown narrowly escaped injury in paparazzi-related car accident in Los Angeles on Saturday.

Brown, 23, was traveling to a charity event at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy when he was cut off by two vehicles. According to spokesfolks for Breezy:

“The occupants jumped out, with cameras, and aggressively approached his vehicle. In an effort to remove himself from the situation, he began to back down an alley at which point his was cut off by two additional vehicles. Chris’ vehicle was totaled due to this aggressive pursuit by the paparazzi. He is OK.”

Despite the accident, Brown made it just in time for the children’s charity event.
