Chris Brown Under Investigation for Drive-By Phone-Jacking
Well, what do you know? Ole “Bruise and Brawl Breezy” is back in the headlines after allegedly terrorizing another woman.
And this time, even iPhones aren’t safe from his wrath.
Chris Brown — who just this week made nice with ex-punching bag Rihanna on a pair of R&B remixes — is under investigation for a weekend robbery in Miami.
Well, more like a drive-by phone-jacking, depending on who’s telling the story.
Christal Spann, 24, has filed a police report against the F.A.M.E. singer for a “robbery by snatching.” Christal claims Chris stole her phone after she tried to take a photo of him outside Cameo, a South Beach club, on Sunday.
According to NBC Miami, Christal told cops that the famously hot-tempered star “flipped out” when he saw her camera phone, grabbed it through the car window and screamed:
“Bitch, you ain’t going to put that on no website.”
Chris then rolled up his car window and drove off…with the iPhone in hand.
Florida State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle has issued a statement to address “erroneous reports … regarding the Miami Beach Police Department’s investigation” of Brown.
“My prosecutors are currently speaking with witnesses and reviewing all of the materials supplied by Miami Beach Police. Only after these reviews have been completed would any type of action be considered or taken.”
Brown, 22, who won a Grammy award earlier this month, is in the middle of a five-year term of probation. The former teen heartthrob plead guilty to criminal assault after beating ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. If arrested again, Brown risks being collared for a probation violation.
No arrests have been made.
