I think this PSA has done a wonderful job of recreating how horrifying this incident was and how horrifying incidents like it are. Do Something’s campaign is making the public aware that this is a serious issue and there is no excusing what happened. They are doing a great job of getting the facts out! (1 in 3)!!!

i think that there is a way to still remain a fan of chris browns music while also being against domestic violence. we may never know EXACTLY what happened in the car that day, but something clearly went wrong. nancy lublin, the orgs ceo put it great when she said that clearly these two are talented performers, but that doesn’t really mean anything besides the fact that they are good at their jobs. domestic violence is a serious issue no matter what. it’s also not a new issue. just because it has been brought to light in this context doesn’t mean that only it only happens in hollywood. didn’t they say that 1 in 3 teens were affected- good lord! this is obviously something widespread that really needs to be addressed somewhere other than TMZ.

The lesson here is quite simple, it is wrong to abuse someone male or female and no one deserves to be abused. If everyone learned that simple lesson, we could end dating abuse and domestic violence today. Who could be against that? The problem is that abuse comes a person believing the other person deserves the abuse, that they need to be taught a lesson. The other problem is learning to control one’s anger–we don’t really teach that. Why don’t we?

The girls saying they still “love” Chris are the same ones with IQs of two digits who think O.J. was innocent. And Briitani, it’s “you’re”, not “your” in your third post. Love the spelling and grammar from “anonymous,” too. With that level of intelligence, I would remain “anonymous,” too.

as an abuse victim, I can tell you that this PSA doesn’t depict the real level of rage and violence going down in that car that night. Just look at Rhianna’s face in the picture. I realize the actors aren’t really mad and can’t really hurt each other, so it’s hard. Chris Brown is a very sick individual and Rhianna should love herself enough to run away as fast as she can.
