Betcha you didn’t know that Chris Brown’s hot single “Forever” is actually the jingle for a Doublemint Gum ad campaign to premiere later this Summer.

Accordng to the Wall Street Journal, is an extended version of a new Doublemint jingle written by Chris and scheduled to be unveiled at a news conference in New York on Tuesday.

Chris updated the Wrigley’s Gum jingle, which debuted in 1960, and re-recorded it with hip-hop producer Polow Da Don. Chris’ print and commercial ad campaign for Doublemint will begin airing in 30-second spots this August.

And Chris isn’t the only top-tier music celebrity joining the Wrigley’s family next month. Platinum-selling singer Ne-Yo and country-singing Dancing With The Stars champ Julianne Hough have recorded new twists on Big Red’s “Kiss A Little Longer” track and Juicy Fruit’s signature sing-along, “The Taste Is Gonna Move Ya,” respectively.

Wrigley’s will host a concert itomorrow to unveil the new jingles. Radio station Hot 97 is expected to give away tickets for the show as part of the promotion.

    You would have to be born yesterday to not realize it was a doublemint gum ad. I like the song but every time I heard it I would think of doublemint gum. Kinda ruins it for me. Plus the music video has him getting a piece of gum in the beginning… doesn’t make sense to sing while chewing gum. Disappointing.
