Rihanna has told Los Angeles Police detectives investigating Chris Brown on charges of domestic battery that the R&B star threatened to kill her and choked her until she lost consciousness during the highly-publicized brawl in Los Angeles early Sunday, E! News has learned.

On Tuesday, a district attorney’s spokeswoman said LA Police have presented a case regarding singer Chris Brown, but county prosecutors have asked for further investigation.
