Moments again, despair fell over thousands of people gathered in Chicago’s Daley Plaza after the International Olympics Committee (IOC) eliminated the Windy City as a possible host for the 2016 Olympic city.

Chicago, Madrid, Rio de Janeiro, and Tokyo had been competing for the right to host the 2016 Summer Olympic Games. The IOC, who will announce their choice in Copenhagen on Friday, have narrowed their choices down to Rio and Madrid.
