Cheryl Burke Dance Studio: The Cheryl Burke Dance Center San Francisco
Cheryl Burke has opened her own ballroom dance studio. The two-time Dancing With The Stars champion ripped down the red ribbon on The Cheryl Burke Dance Center in her hometown of San Francisco on Friday night.
“I want this to be the new, hip place to go to for ballroom dancing. I’ll be there as much as I can for the rest of the year. …I want this to be the new hip place to go ballroom dancing,” Cheryl tells People Magazine.

The people who are saying those negative things about your weight need to look in the mirror. I am sure that they are no where near the PERFECT SIZE that you are. I am one of many of your devoted fans. I am 58 and fighting a weight problem of post menopauce and not good exercise habits. YOU INSPIRE me. If I could lose 40 pounds and move around more I would be so very happy. I watch you move each week on dancing with the stars and I vote for you even before you dance – because I believe in what you do, and stand for. Watching the Good Morning America show this morning and they were showing the last season and this seasons pictures of you and I am one of your biggest fans and I could not tell the difference.
