Cher Catwoman Role “Batman: The Dark Knight” Sequel
Entertainment legend Cher is being courted for the role of Catwoman in the next Batman movie.
The 62-year-old singer/actress is reportedly director Christopher Nolan’s first choice for the role in the upcoming sequel to the record-breaking Batman: The Dark Knight
Cher will portray Catwoman “like a vamp in her twilight years,” a studio executive revealed to the Daily Telegraph on Sunday. “The new Catwoman will be the absolute opposite of Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry’s purring creations.”
The cast will also include award-winning actors Johnny Depp as The Riddler and Phillip Seymour Hoffman as The Penguin.
