Chelsea Handler Really Doesn’t Like Being Ignored (Just Ask Piers Morgan)

The claws came out when late night diva Chelsea Handler stopped by Piers Morgan’s recently-axed CNN gabfest, Piers Morgan Live, on Monday.
The New York Times Bestselling author has been making headlines for a series of racially-charged unmentionables she (likely drunk) tweeted during the 2014 Academy Awards.
But that’s another story.
Handler swung by Piers’ place to chat up her latest tome, Uganda Be Kidding Me, but things got a little…er…awkward after the comedienne felt slighted by Morgan. Piers is unabashed Twitter fanatic and he raised Chelsea’s ire when he spent an entire commercial break tweeting instead of interacting with the (less than) bubbly blonde sitting in front of him.
“You can’t even pay attention for 60 seconds,” Chelsea chided him. “You’re a terrible interviewer.”
“You just weren’t keeping my attention,” Morgan countered.
“That’s not my problem,” Handler replied. “This is your show, you have to pay attention to the guest you invited on your show.”
Chelsea then quipped:
“Maybe that’s why your job is coming to an end.”
“I like you when you’re being nasty,” Piers laughed.
To prove there’s no hard feelings, Piers re-tweeted Chelsea’s zinger to his 177,000 followers.
“Maybe that’s why your job is coming to an end” @ChelseaHandler holds nothing back, @piersmorgan loves her for it.”
