In an interview with NBC’s Jeff Rossen, haggard actor Charlie Sheen says that the executives who shut down Two and a Half Men are trying to destroy his family and take his money.
Both ABC’s Good Morning America and NBC’s TODAY aired lengthy segments of their interviews in their first and second half hours.
Last week, CBS and Warner Bros. produced filming on the current series of the hit comedy after Charlie’s increasingly erratic behaviour, but now the actor is demanding more money to start filming again. Rossen appeared taken aback when Sheen said he wanted to be paid $3 million an episode to return to the show. He’s reportedly paid $1.8 million an episode now, one of the highest-paid actors on television.
