How’s this for “Winning?” Charlie Sheen turned up for a surprise appearance at the annual Primetime Emmys on Sunday night, where he served as a presenter of the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series prize, offered his blessing to his old series — CBS Two and a Half Men — and came face-to-face with the man who will replace him on TV’s highest-rated sitcom.
On Sunday, Sheen Tweeted a couple of photographs of himself backstage at the 63rd Annual Primetime Emmys, surprisingly hobnobbing with his Men replacement, Ashton Kutcher.
“Giving the new kid a little advice..! With @aplusk backstage at the Emmy’s,” Charlie Tweeted, along with a link to a photo of the pair on his WhoSay account.
After their backstage bromance, Charlie continued the praise for Ashton, writing: “Seriously… @aplusk great talking to you! We’ll all be watching! Make us proud!!”
Earlier in the night, Kutcher joked about Sheen’s controversial firing from the CBS series last March, following a war of words with the show’s creator.
