Charlie Sheen’s Emmy-nominated CBS comedy is back in the No. 1 spot after the troubled star’s weekend collar on domestic violence charges.
A repeat episode of Two and A Half Men — the first to air since Sheen allegedly put a knife to his wife’s throat on Christmas Day — drew 11.1 million viewers on Monday night, according to preliminary Nielsen ratings. That was enough to make the sitcom the most-watched program of the evening. The real test for the show will be when new episodes return next month.
Sheen was arrested second-degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief, after attacking his wife, Brooke Mueller, with a knife during a family vacation in Aspen last Friday. Charlie and Brooke are the parents of nine-month-old twin sons, Max and Bob.
