Chad Michael Murray Leaving “One Tree Hill” (Confirmation VIDEO)
Chad Michael Murray won’t be back for the upcoming seventh season of One Tree Hill, and he’s anything but pleased about it.
Chad, 27, claims show producers have opted not to renew his contract with the series.
The actor’s career took when The CW series debuted on The WB in 2003.
Last weekend, a few of Chad’s fans posted a bizarre video online, in which the actor announces that his character, Lucas Scott, has been written out of the primetime drama, thus ending his tenure with the show.
“They’re not bringing me back next year… because they want to save money. They don’t want me. I’m not joking. This is actually the last scene we’re shooting, right now,” Chad can be heard saying as he tells fans of his departure from One Tree Hill.

CW, please keep Peyton and Lucas’ on OTH. There’s a lot of dedicated fans of OTH and many of us watched every episode of it and enjoy watching their characters grow. It’s either make season 6 the series finale by having Peyton deliver her baby and live happily with Lucas or keep them in season 7! Peyton has been with Jake, Pete, Julian, and Nathan. Lucas was a man whore, He was with, Brooke , Anna, Nikki, Lindsay, I mean come on! Nathan was with Peyton for like a minute and then Haley PERIOD! Haley had just Nathan, thats way more special than 2 people that cant make up their minds and stab Brooke in the back TWICE! The new story line is BITCHEN, I am on the edge of my seat every week!
