The current season of VH1’s Celebrity Rehab could be the last for celebrity addiction specialist Dr. Drew Pinsky.

The Celebreality Network has decided to put the hit docu-soap on “indefinite hiatus” after Dr. Drew decided to step down as host due to his busy schedule. In addition to his newly-launched HLN series, The Dr. Drew Show, Pinsky recently sold a new show — titled Dr. Drew’s Lifechangers — to The CW. Drew also host the nightly sex/relationship radio program Loveline.

“The amount of time Dr. Drew has to commit to treating celebrities on the show is a tremendous amount of time… Dr. Drew really enjoyed doing the show, even though it could be very emotionally grueling at times,” a production insider tells RadarOnline.

Celebrity Rehab is currently in its fifth season: Michael Lohan, Sean Young, and Bai Ling are among the “celebs” seeking Drew’s expertise on addiction.
