Mac you have so much insight I believe your greatest gift to the world would be to work in a rehab. Not just because you can relate to the patients, but you have so much profound wisdom. I know there are people out there in this huge world that do not judge you or want to use you. I just don't think you have found any. Maybe it's just because your in California, I don't know. But I hope someday soon you will find those type of people to share your life with. Your a likeable girl so I can't see it not happening. Hold your head up proud. There are so many people in this country alone that either lose their lives or have no quality of life by means beyond their control, and here you are squandering yours. Shame on you. What will make you snap out of it? How about visiting a childs hospital bed who will never leave alive and tell them how your wasting your life. I say this out of caring about your life. The fact the one individual, Kari ann, is allowed to continuue to act out her addictiolns while in treatment at the expense of ALLthe other patients is, I believe; highly questioinable. Treatment is about CHANGE, what to, and how to, period. If one client is unwilling to follow rules in treatment, then it is clear they must be given the message it is not ok, and be extricated from the Group, or it poisens the Group, as you see it happening in the current episode....very sad and UNNECESSARY for all the other patients to go through.
