Celebrity Baby Boom: Beckhams Welcome Baby Girl While Kate Hudson & Matt Bellamy Say Hello To Baby Boy

Temps are on the rise and a Celebrity Baby Boom has hit the Hollywood Scene this weekend: After three sons, singer-turned-designer Victoria Beckham gave birth to a healthy baby girl — her first daughter — at a hospital in Los Angeles this morning. Meanwhile, Almost Famous actress Kate Hudson will have to wait just a little longer for a baby girl to play dress-up with.

“David and Victoria Beckham are delighted to announce the birth of their daughter. Happy and healthy, she arrived at 7.55am this morning at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles and weighed 7lbs 10oz,” says the couple’s spokesperson, Simon Oliveira.

We can’t wait for the revelation of Baby Posh’s name.

The Beckhams, who married in 1999, already have three boys: Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 5. Oliveira added that the Beckhams boys “are excited to welcome their baby sister to the family.”

Elsewhere in Tinseltown, Hudson, 32, and her fiancé, Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy, welcomed a “healthy baby boy” in Los Angeles on Saturday, Hudson’s rep tells PEOPLE.She began dating Bellamy last spring and they had announced Hudson’s pregnancy in January. She later told InStyle Magazine that the pregnancy was not exactly planned, although she said the couple had been “tempting fate.”

The baby is the first for Bellamy. Hudson has a 7½-year-old son, Ryder Russell, with her ex-husband, Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson.
