“Let’s Make A Deal” & “The Dating Game” Possible Replacements For “Guiding Light”
CBS may replace Guiding Light with revivals of two classic game shows, Let’s Make a Deal and The Dating Game, when the long-running soap opera ends its historic seven decade run in September, The NY Post is reporting.
The original Let’s Make A Deal ran from 1963 to 1973 on ABC and NBC, followed by various remakes that aired well into the 1990s, while The Dating Game aired between 1965 and 1980 on ABC.
