Black Eyed Peas manager Liborio Molina has apologized for punching gossip blogger Perez Hilton, but the camps haven’t exactly kissed and made up just yet.
An assault charge against Molina was dropped Wednesday after the manager issued a written apology to Hilton. Molina allegedly punched Hilton — whose real name is Mario Lavandeira — from behind outside a Toronto nightclub outside a Toronto nightclub following the MuchMusic Video Awards in June. Fists started flying after the openly gay blogger referred to Black Eyed Peas’ leader will.i.am as a slur for homosexuals. In case you live under a boulder, the web’s No.1 shit starter has fingered Black Eyed Peas manager Polo Molina in the assault that left him with a black eye and a bloody nose.
In an interview with the website The Gossip Kid on Monday, singer Kelly Clarkson said that while she does not condone violence, Perez had it coming. Kelly noted that since blogger is not even nice to young celebrities, like Disney’s Miley Cyrus, or the children of celebs, no one is going to shed any tears for him.
“You’re mean to children! No one’s going to pity you,” Kelly joked.
“I do not think violence is the answer, but what do you expect? I’m surprised it hasn’t happened already,” the original American Idol laughed. “I’m thinking how much did will.i.am pay his manager to do that?”

Black Eyed Peas stars Will.i.am and his security entourage allegedly assaulted (AKA “Beat The Snot Out Of”) gabby celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton after the MuchMusic Awards in Toronto Sunday night.
Early Monday, Perez took to his Twitter account to ask for help after he says he was assaulted by the BEP rapper and his security guards.
Beginning just after 3 a.m., Perez started tweeting about the alleged attack, writing:
“I’m in shock. I need the police ASAP. Please come to the SoHo Metropolitan Hotel now. Please. I was assaulted by Will.I.Am of the Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke.”
Posting an update ten minutes later, he added: “Still waiting for the police. The bleeding has stopped. I need to document this. Please, can the police come to the SoHo Met Hotel. I spoke to my lawyer. I really need to talk to the authorities. Please come to the SoHo Met Hotel. Have called the police. Need them here.”
