Will Smith is gearing up for another Independence Day blockbuster with the release of his latest film, Hancock, opening July 4th. Will told daughter Willow, “Daddy loves you, but he must stomp you at the box office” when Hancock opens against Kit Kittredge: An American Girl.

Will Smith has confirmed his son is set to be the new Karate Kid. Nine year-old Jaden, who appeared alongside his Academy Award-nominated dad in 2007’s The Pursuit of Happyness, is lined up to be the martial arts prodigy in a remake of the cult 80s film. The film is likely to be shot in China.
