Did you know that back in 2008 Victoria’s Secret Angel Marisa Miller filmed a commercial for Guitar Hero that was quickly banned in the United States and abroad after being deemed too racy for TV? Last week, the previously-unreleased Guitar Hero: World Tour ad, featuring the sexy supermodel, finally made its way to the Interwebs. The spot features a lingerie-clad Marisa rocking out in a spoof of Tom Cruise’s immortalized dance scene in the 1983 comedy, Risky Business.

Sorry Heidi Funbags, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has been formally announced as the new female lead in the Transformers series. On Wednesday, director Michael Bay hit his blog to personally welcome the 23-year-old British stunner to the blockbuster franchise. Bay previously worked with Huntington-Whiteley on the commercial for the Victoria’s Secret “A Thousand Fantasies” campaign — which he directed.
“I would like for all you S4TE fans to welcome Rosie Huntington Whitely to the world of Transformers. As some of you might know, she’s the new female lead in Transformers 3.”
Last month, Paramount Studios confirmed that brunette bombshell Megan Fox would not be featured in the third Transformers film.
(They could always cast Heidi as one of the surgically-altered robots….)
The Big Gals are not pleased. The supersized lovelies at the nation’s leading plus-sized retailer, Lane Bryant, still have a bone to pick with the chiefs at FOX and ABC and the lingerie models they love to showcase.
Last month, a mini-scandal broke out when the networks refused to air the one of the brand’s racy lingerie ad during broadcasts of Dancing With The Stars and American Idol. Censors argued that the spot bared too much cleavage. Of course, no one had any problem airing ads with equally scantily-clad yet more petite Vicky’s Secret Models.
Now Lane Bryant is attracting more attention by creating a new ad mocking the Victoria’s Secret commercials.
