Klum, 36, who gave birth to her fourth child just six weeks ago, had only been tapped to host the show but ultimately decided to walk the runway at last night’s showing, much to the delight of the crowd.

Wearing a corset and full skirt, the new mom smiled as she slowly took the runway for the surprise appearance. The event was the hottest ticket in the Big Apple, as the beautiful Victoria’s Secret Angels showed off elegant lingerie. The audience was packed with celebrities including Dr Dre and The Black Eyed Peas.

The 2009 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will air Dec. 1 @ 9PM on CBS.

The Victoria’s Secret beauty, 28, and her husband, Memphis Grizzlies guard-forward Marko Jaric, welcomed a daughter in New York City on Sunday, a rep for Lima confirmed to PEOPLE.

“Adriana and Marko are thrilled to announce they had a baby girl, Valentina Lima Jaric,” the rep said. “Mother, father and baby are all doing well.”

Valentina is the first child for both and the Victoria’s Secret family couldn’t be more excited for Adriana and her new one.

“All of us at Victoria’s Secret are thrilled to welcome Adriana’s own little angel. I jokingly asked her if she wanted to walk the runway in our annual fashion show this Thursday night and, for a minute, I thought she was going to take me up on it! We congratulate her, and wish them all health and well being,” Victoria’s Secret Chief Marketing Officer Ed Razek said in a statement offering his congratulations to the new mom.

Marko and Adriana, who began dating in 2006,, got engaged on the model’s 27th birthday — June 12, 2008. The tied eloped in a private ceremony in Jackson Hole, Wyoming on Valentine’s Day.

The German supermodel, who welcomed daughter Lou with hubby Seal just three weeks ago, will continue her maternity leave by hosting this year’s event, fashion snoops tell E!.

“Both mother and baby are happy and healthy,” a rep for the G.I. Joe star said in a statement issued Monday morning.

Tobin, who weighed 6 lbs., 3 oz., is the first child for Karolina — once dubbed the “Sexiest Woman In The World — and her film producer fiance, Archie Drury.

Motherhood seems to be a popular trend among the Victoria’s Secret supermodel. Fellow models Adriana Lima and Gisele Bundchen are also expecting and Heidi Klum welcomed her fourth child, Lou Sulola Samuel, last October.

Victoria’s Secret supermodel Karolina Kurkova is pregnant with her first child.

The Czech-born catwalk maven, 25, and her fiancé Archie Drury are expecting a baby tot in October, her rep confirmed Tuesday.

“Supermodel and actress Karolina Kurkova and her fiancé, film producer Archie Drury have announced that they are expecting their first child,” the statement reads. “The couple have been together for a little over a year.”

The Dish Mail got it right — Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima is going to be a mom.

The Victoria’s Secret Angel and her husband, NBA star Marko Jaric, are expecting their first child together later this reps for the couple confirmed to PEOPLE on Tuesday.

“Adriana and Marko are overjoyed that they are expecting their first child together and are excited to share the happy news and start their family together,” the couple’s reps told the publication. .

The couple eloped on Valentine’s Day this year, exchanging vows in a small, private civil ceremony in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Adriana is due to give birth this winter.

Victoria’s Secret has inked a deal with Project Runway Season 5 champ Christian Siriano for the creation of a limited edition line of cosmetics set to debut this fall. The Christian Siriano for VS Makeup Collection is the latest addition to the lingerie giant’s Very Sexy color line.

According to a press statement released by Victoria’s Secret on Friday, the collection includes five shades of eye shadow, each $14; black eyeliner, $12; three lip gloss shades, each $14; a bronzer-highlighter trio, $24; a face brush, $32, and a ruffled cosmetics bag, $16. Siriano’s items will be packaged in gold compacts with the Christian Siriano for VS Makeup logo engraved on top.

In other Siriano news, the pint-sized designing dynamo is eagerly awaiting the fall debut of his new shoe line, which will be available exclusively at Payless.

Heidi Klum is hitting the late night circuit to drum up support for Victoria’s Secret’s latest contribution to the world of lacy lingerie, The Perfect One bra.
