American Fashion Bible Vanity Fair and acclaimed shutterbug Annie Leibovitz have teamed up to honor Tinseltown’s young ingenues in the publication’s 16th annual New Hollywood issue.

This year’s honorees include: Carey Mulligan, Kristen Stewart, Abbie Cornish, Mia Wasikowska, Amanda Seyfried, Rebecca Hall, Emma Stone, Evan Rachel Wood, and Anna Kendrick.

Vanity Fair’s Hollywood Issue hits newsstands nationally Feb. 9.

In the new issue of Harper’s Bazaar, Miley Cyrus defends the 2008 Vanity Fair Magazine shoot, where she appeared loosely wrapped in a bed sheet.

Posed naked and wrapped in a sheet for legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz, the shots caused a stir two years ago when they were published in VF, with many adults wondering how Miley’s parents could have allowed the child star to appear in such a shoot. In a tell-all interview with the December issue of Vanity Fair Magazine, Twilight’s Robert Pattinson downplays his rumored real-life relationship with his onscreen love Kristen Stewart.

Pattinson, 23, insist that he and Stewart are “good friends.”

“[We’re] good friends,” Robert told the mag. “I think she’s the best young actress around. She’s influenced how I’ve done all the ‘Twilight’ stuff. It’s quite nice to have someone who is genuinely indifferent to the whole spectacle of everything.”
