Pattinson, 23, insist that he and Stewart are “good friends.”

“[We’re] good friends,” Robert told the mag. “I think she’s the best young actress around. She’s influenced how I’ve done all the ‘Twilight’ stuff. It’s quite nice to have someone who is genuinely indifferent to the whole spectacle of everything.”

“She told me that once Bristol had the baby she and Todd would adopt him,” the 19-year-old reveals in the October issue of Vanity Fair. “That way, she said, Bristol and I didn’t have to worry about anything. Sarah kept mentioning this plan. She was nagging — she wouldn’t give up. She would say, ‘So, are you gonna let me adopt him?’ We both kept telling her we were definitely not going to let her adopt the baby. I think Sarah wanted to make Bristol look good, and she didn’t want people to know that her 17-year-old daughter was going to have a kid.”

Todd & Sarah Divorce Talks: “They wouldn’t go anywhere together unless the cameras were out. In all the time Bristol and I were together, I’ve never seen them sleep in the same bedroom…There was a lot of talk of divorce in that house… Todd would say, ‘All right, do you want a divorce? Is that what you want? Let’s do it! Sign the papers!’ They’d either stop and be fine, or Sarah would go to her room.”

Levi On Life In The Palin House: “The Palins didn’t have dinner together and they didn’t talk much as a family,” he tells VF. “Throughout the years I spent with them, when Sarah got home from her office — almost never later than five and sometimes as early as noon — she usually walked in the door, said hello, and then disappeared into her bedroom, where she would hang out. Sometimes she’d take an hour-long bath. Other times she sat on the living-room couch … watching house shows and wedding shows on TV. She always wanted things and she wanted other people to get them for her. If she wanted a movie, Bristol and I would go to the video store; if she wanted food, we’d get her something to eat, like a Crunchwrap Supreme from Taco Bell. She’d try to bribe everyone to clean the house, or give us guilt trips. She used to make Bristol feel bad by telling her that she did everything for her. This was unfair because, even before the campaign, Bristol was already the mom in the house, and she got tired of having to take care of her siblings.”

Vanity Fair Magazine has unveiled its annual International Best-Dressed List, featuring stylish appearances by Brad Pitt, Anne Hathaway, and First Lady Michelle Obama.

The opinionated queen, who most recently made waves for proclaiming that Michael Jackson is better off dead, has been canned by the bitchy fashionistas at Vanity Fair Magazine, where he was employed as a contributing editor. VF fired Rupert’s ass after he described editor Graydon Carter as a “weird character” who is “rather fat” in a public outburst to British tabloids last week.

“Rupert regrets being so indiscreet,” says an insider. “He’s coming to the end of his Broadway run in Blithe Spirit, so money is tight.”

A Vanity Fair source said: “When his remarks reminded Graydon that Rupert was still listed, it seemed some housecleaning was in order.”

Apparently, folks are tired of looking at Gisele Bundchen naked. The May issue of Vanity Fair Magazine, in which the world’s top-earning supermodel appears nearly naked on the cover (and claimed in the accompanying interview that husband Tom Brady’s son is “100 percent” hers), was the lowest-selling issue of the publication in nearly two years.

Reps for Vanity Fair confirm that the issue sold only 280,000 single-sale copies.

“It might be that she’s losing her looks,” VF spokeswoman Beth Kseniak quipped The New York Observer on Monday.

Is Robert Pattinson really hotter than Brad Pitt?

The Twilight fanatics have annotated on-screen vampire heartthrob Robert Pattinson the “Most Handsome Man in the World” in a new Vanity Fair online poll. The poll — a follow-up to March’s popular Vanity Fair poll, in which Angelina Jolie was voted the “Most Beautiful Woman in the World” — features Wolverine star Hugh Jackman, soccer player David Beckham, and Daniel Craig, and Denzel Washington as possible choices.

Pattz is currently in the lead with a whopping 60% of the vote. The closest runner-up is Brad Pitt, with only 12% of the vote. Johnny Depp is second runner-up with 9% of the vote.

Over 150,000 votes have been registered so far, with 90,000 votes going to the 23-year-old Brit.

The poll is still open and available for voting on Vanity Fair’s website.
