Vanessa Lachey is opening up about one the most difficult thing about becoming a mother….postpartum.
The Wipeout host penned an article on her blog about her battle with the baby blues, folloing the birth of her first child, Camden, with Nick Lachey.
“I couldn’t understand how anyone could ever feel anything less than this enormous amount of pure love! I looked over and saw Nick holding Camden in his perfect hospital swaddle, and I felt so at peace and right where I was supposed to be. Nick and Vanessa Lachey welcomed their first child — a son they named Camden John — in September. Now the showbiz couple is giving fans a glimpse at their little bundle of joy, thanks to the magic of the Twitterverse.
On Monday, Vanessa tweeted this image of a peacefully sleeping baby Camden, with the caption:
“@NickSLachey and I are honored and humbled to introduce you to the new Love of our lives, Camden John Lachey.”
It’s a boy for Hollywood couple Nick and Vanessa Lachey.

ABC has renewed Wipeout for a sixth season but Vanessa Lachey will not be returning as the host.
According to producers, previous host, Jill Wager who hosted for the first 4 seasons will be returning. “I’m thrilled that we will hit a major milestone in our sixth season, our 100th episode. We’ll be celebrating all season long with brand new over-the-top courses and the return of Jill Wagner to the Wipeout family,” creator and producer Matt Kunitz said today. It has been quite the year for former boy-bander, Nick Lachey and his wife, Vanessa.
The couple, who are expecting their first child together soon, gushed via Twitter as they celebrated their first anniversary. “What a year!,” Vanessa wrote on Twitter. “Love, Marriage, Love, Baby. Thank You @NickSLachey for constantly making me the happiest woman I can be. #HappyAnniversary.” Vanessa revealed on her website that they are indeed expecting a baby boy.
