The former child star — who has over 400,000 followers on her well-trafficked social networking site –confronted a person holding a fake account who was posting messages under an ID similar to her the name of her Official Blog.

“Maybe Alyssa Milano would like to tell us all why she is pretending to be me,” Milano wrote. The imposter’s account has since been suspended. A brief message on the fake’s page now reads: “Sorry, the profile you were trying to view has been suspended due to strange activity.”

“I was on tour with the band this summer. They invited me actually on Twitter,” Emmy said Thursday on the syndicated radio show “Valentine in the Morning.” “That’s how we met – on a dare. They dared me to come sing with them a song that I’d never sung before … So I ended up on tour with the band, and it was very, very fun.”

Emmy had previously denied the blossoming relationship, despite pictures emerging of her kissing Adam, 45, during a charity concert in September. Emmy is currently divorcing her husband of two years, music executive Justin Siegel, and says she wants nothing from the divorce, except “my freedom.”

A pair of messages purporting that Britney has joined the “Dark Side” were posted to the singer’s account on Thursday.

“I give myself to Lucifer every day for it to arrive as quickly as possible. Glory to Satan,” reads one message.

A second read: “I hope that the new world order will arive as soon as possible! –Britney.”A while later, another message was posted.

“Britney’s twitter account was just hacked,” this one said. “The situation has been resolved and we apologize for any offense the hacker’s messages caused.”

The Tweets have still yet to be removed.

Britney is currently touring Australia, where she has caused controversy by miming through recent gigs.

Will & Grace creators David Kohan and Max Mutchnick are on board to executive produce a television sitcom based on the knee-slapping Twitter sensation of the same name, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Now through Nov. 15, Twitter posts from Lopez and selected fans will be displayed on a high-definition billboard between 44th and 45th Streets on New York City’s famed Broadway strip. A scroll of selected tweets run on the billboard around the clock and fans can register and tweet through http://georgetweets.com.

The move came after reps for Levi Johnston threatened legal action against The Tonight Show and the social media mecca, claiming the 19-year-old was being impersonated on the site. At the top of the show, Conan said he’d woken up to “shocking news.” “Apparently the tweets that we read were counterfeit,” he said. “They were written by a clever impostor posing as the witty Levi Johnston. And the real Levi is very angry with us now.”

He continued, “I’d like to personally apologize to Levi Johnston and his lawyer and publicist for misrepresenting him in any way.” Conan proceeded to welcome William Shatner back to recite “some real, verified quotes from Levi Johnston” as spoken-word poetry.

During the broadcast, it was implied that the jibberish Shatner was reading were official tweets made by Levi himself. “Not so,” says the soon-to-be nude centerfold.

On Thursday, Tank Johnson, Levi’s rep, released a statement demanding Twitter bosses do something about this faux Johnston raising Hell on the Interwebs: “My client, Levi Johnston, is being impersonated on your media (Twitter) and this is leading to libel and slanderous statements being attributed to him. … We want you to put an immediate end to this illegal activity. … You are being used as a medium to promote this illegality and we want immediate action. … You are now on notice and must take steps to put an end to what is clearly against the law and against your policy. … We want to know what steps you will be taking to correct what is clearly a problem which is escalating.”

Pal Jessica Simpson, who is also known for her ample bosom, chimed in: “Amen, sister!” she wrote on her own account.

“Look Perez, you make a living off telling lies and trying to associate yourself with anyone who is in the media for press. We should all just call you Michael Lohan. You’re the gay version of Michael Lohan,” the 22-year-old college dropout fumed in one Tweet.
