George Stephanopoulos is one step closer to replacing Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America, two sources close to the show tell The Daily Beast. Word is ABC News President David Westin traveled to DC on Thursday, where she met with Stephanopoulos about the job.

Diane Sawyer will leave her longtime post at GMA when she steps in for the retiring Charles Gordon on ABC’s World News Tonight.

Jon & Kate Plus 8 have been replaced by a “Cake.”

Cake Boss will begin airing in the fractured reality family’s Monday-night timeslot on Nov. 30, TLC announced on Friday.

The series finale of Jon & Kate, airing Nov. 23, will feature Jon and Kate sitting down “to provide new insights on their recent life events” and the future of their eight children, according to The New York Post. The episode will also feature Kate and the kids at a dairy farm, Jon with the children at a firehouse, and a montage of the show’s five-seasons on The Learning Channel.

TLC is reportedly developing a new show especially for Kate.

Charlie’s Angels, ABC’s iconic action -drama, is the latest nostalgia-TV project in line for reincarnation, Variety has learned. ABC has ordered a revamped pilot of Aaron Spelling’s small screen hit, which aired from 1976-1981 and made sex symbols out of stunning stars Jaclyn Smith, Kate Jackson, and Farrah Fawcett.

Charlies Angels Remake On TV

Sony and executive producer Drew Barrymore — who starred in two Charlie’s Angels features at the box office — will work on the project in cooperation with writer-producer Josh Friedman, who previously brought his skills to FOX’s now-defunct series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Great news, Brits: Pop’s Bajan princess Rihanna is set to perform on the British talent show The X-Factor later this month. The “Disturbia” hitmaker will belt out her new single “Russian Roulette” from her forthcoming album, Rated R, on a program airing Nov. 22.

“I am beyond excited – it was the easiest decision I’ve ever made. A lot of people watch the show over here (in America) on YouTube and I personally caught a lot of it when Leona Lewis was on, who’s an amazing artist,” Rihanna said Wednesday. “So, to say yes to (show boss) Simon (Cowell) was an honor, especially as I know the show so well.”

Alexandra Burke and Cheryl Cole are also expected to perform on the results show. Meanwhile, Rihanna’s fourth studio album is slated for release the day after her X-Factor appearance.
