Cake Boss will begin airing in the fractured reality family’s Monday-night timeslot on Nov. 30, TLC announced on Friday.
The series finale of Jon & Kate, airing Nov. 23, will feature Jon and Kate sitting down “to provide new insights on their recent life events” and the future of their eight children, according to The New York Post. The episode will also feature Kate and the kids at a dairy farm, Jon with the children at a firehouse, and a montage of the show’s five-seasons on The Learning Channel.
TLC is reportedly developing a new show especially for Kate.
Charlie’s Angels, ABC’s iconic action -drama, is the latest nostalgia-TV project in line for reincarnation, Variety has learned. ABC has ordered a revamped pilot of Aaron Spelling’s small screen hit, which aired from 1976-1981 and made sex symbols out of stunning stars Jaclyn Smith, Kate Jackson, and Farrah Fawcett.
Sony and executive producer Drew Barrymore — who starred in two Charlie’s Angels features at the box office — will work on the project in cooperation with writer-producer Josh Friedman, who previously brought his skills to FOX’s now-defunct series Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Great news, Brits: Pop’s Bajan princess Rihanna is set to perform on the British talent show The X-Factor later this month. The “Disturbia” hitmaker will belt out her new single “Russian Roulette” from her forthcoming album, Rated R, on a program airing Nov. 22.
“I am beyond excited – it was the easiest decision I’ve ever made. A lot of people watch the show over here (in America) on YouTube and I personally caught a lot of it when Leona Lewis was on, who’s an amazing artist,” Rihanna said Wednesday. “So, to say yes to (show boss) Simon (Cowell) was an honor, especially as I know the show so well.”
Alexandra Burke and Cheryl Cole are also expected to perform on the results show. Meanwhile, Rihanna’s fourth studio album is slated for release the day after her X-Factor appearance.
Lou Dobbs, the longtime CNN anchor whose anti-immigration stance allegedly made him the target of a “drive-by shooting” last month, has announced that he is leaving the cable news channel after 29 years — effective immediately.
“Some leaders in the media, politics and business have been urging me to go beyond my role here at CNN and engage in constructive problem-solving,” the host of Lou Dobbs Tonight said just after 7PM Wednesday. “I’m considering a number of options and directions,” the journalist added. The 49-year-old funnywoman, who campaigned for same-sex marriage on her Bravo series My Life On The D-List last season, has been tapped to portray a lesbian activist on the Feb. 6 episode of NBC’s long-running crime drama.
SVU executive producer Neal Baer revealed the Emmy winner as the series’ next big guest star on Twitter Tuesday, after asking fans to take part in a Hangman-type game to guess who would guest star.
Griffin was recently announced as the host of the dance competition Let’s Dance, which was shelved by ABC earlier this week.
