Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood has been picked up for a fifth season on Oxygen, PEOPLE reported Wednesday. Tune in as reality couple Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott take their two children on the road for the new season of the family’s unscripted series, returning in the Spring of 2010.
In the new season, the clan will offer an even closer look into their family life as they embark on a cross-country family road trip.
“This has given us the amazing opportunity to reach our fans who have become our friends in such an intimate and unique way. It’s an honor to bring our living room into theirs,” Tori says.
Tori Spelling was admitted to a Los Angeles-area hospital on Tuesday, where she is undergoing tests for chronic abdominal pain, a rep for the Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood star has confirmed.
The 36-year-old actress went to the hospital Monday evening after experiencing pain. She returned to the medical facility this afternoon when her condition didn’t improve overnight. Tori had been scheduled to host the Lambda Legal Awards this evening, but had to cancel last minute because of her illness.
If Candy Spelling wants to keep her spot on the guest lists of all of Hollywood’s biggest B-List bashes, she’d better put the kibosh on biting remarks she been spewing about her estranged daughter.

Candy Spelling has reignited her feud with estranged daughter Tori Spelling by emailing a bizarre rant about the 35-year-old reality star to a celebrity gossip website.
On Sunday, the former trophy wife sent in a wordy rant to TMZ.com, taking a swipe at Tori’s recent dramatization of their troubled relationship on her Oxygen reality show Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood.

Candy Spelling showed us how not to reconcile with an estranged family member during an interview on Massachusetts radio station this morning. The former trophy bride made shocking statements against her 35-year-old daughter, Tori, during a chat with 94.7 WMAS’ Kellogg Crew on Thursday.
Candy alleges that Tori’s estrangement from her family “killed” her late father, television mogul Aaron Spelling.
Candy says one day her daughter stopped speaking to the family and she doesn’t know “where the anger came from.”
“It was sad,” Candy said. “That’s what killed my husband [Aaron]. He just didn’t want to live after that.”
“He’d done everything he could possibly do for his daughter and then she wanted no part of him once he couldn’t do anything for her.”
“I’ve always been trying to work on the relationship,” she added.

In an interview with the June/July issue of Cookie Magazine, Tori Spelling says that the tough dynamics surrounding her rocky relationship with her mother Candy concerned her when it came to raising her own daughter, Stella.
“My biggest fear in life was having a girl,” says Tori, 35, who appears on the Cookie cover with Stella and her 2-year-old son, Liam. “How was I going to handle a girl?”
