According to pals, she got her marching orders after the football star discovered sexy texts from the guitar-strumming rocker on her cellphone and learned Jessica joined John for lunch in Hollywood last month.
An insider told RadarOnline.com: “They were hanging out and he picked up her phone and she got defensive about it. Tony found messages from John and went ballistic. Tony dumped her right then. He walked out and that was it.”

The notorious stage dade is slamming a report featured in the March 30 issue of The National Enquirer that claims he wants daughter Jessica Simpson to end her year-long romance with the Dallas Cowboys quarterback because he’s become too much of a distraction from already fleeting career.
“So tired of people saying I don’t like Jess and Tony… He is the best…” the former pastor said on his Twitter page on Wednesday. “Don’t believe the National Enquirer!!!”
