As previously reported on Pop Crunch, the San Antonio Spurs star announced plans early Wednesday to launch a lawsuit against paparazzi tab X17Online.com following their refusal to back down from claims that the NBA star cheated on his new wife, Eva Longoria, with notorious man-eating French model, Alexandra Paressant.

X17Online continues to stick by their story:

Eva Longoria’s NBA-starring husband Tony Parker has decided to take legal action against X17.com over the website refusal to recant a story accusing the newlywed of cheating with French model Alexandra Paressant.

“Tony adamantly and unconditionally denies ever having laid eyes on this woman, let alone having had an affair with her,” Los Angeles-based attorney Larry Stein said in a statement Tuesday. “The allegations of the supposed affair are entirely false and fabricated.”

“We have been instructed to promptly file suit against X17.com and to pursue all legal remedies against those making such false accusations.”

X17 is standing by its decision to publish Paressant’s claims.

“I love my wife,” Tony Parker said in a statement to People Magazine. “She’s the best thing in my life, and I have never been happier.” Longoria, who took Parker’s name this year after their July nuptials, added, “Tony has been nothing short of the perfect husband.”
