Tom Cruise has reportedly been counseling his good friends David and Victoria Beckham on maintaining a happy marriage while managing their careers.

“After an evening with David, Tom decided to have a friendly chat with Victoria about the family’s future, saying it was because he cared so much about all of them,” a source revealed to The Daily Express over the weekend.

David and Victoria Beckham named their third and youngest son after pal Tom Cruise. The soccer star and former pop star wife became close friends with the Top Gun star in 2003,and when the pair welcomed a new baby in 2005, they used the eccentric actor as the inspiration behind the naming of little Cruz Beckham.

“I must admit, when Victoria and I met Tom, I remember turning around to Victoria and saying, ‘Cruise is a great name, but we could spell it different.’ And also, living in Spain, Cruz is spelled the way it is in Spanish. So that’s why we got it,” the soccer ace told writer Grant Wahl for the new biography The Beckham Experiment.

David and Victoria have two other sons, Brooklyn, 10, and Romeo, who is six.

The 46-year-old Tom is struggling with serious hair woes as he watches his once luxurious mane become increasingly thinner with each passing day, Star Magazine insiders have revealed.

A source says: “Tom is using Rogaine because his [hair] is thinning. Plus he gets weekly massages to stimulate growth.”
