Poppin’ or Floppin? Adam Lambert debuted the lead single from his long-awaited debut LP, For Your Entertainment, on Friday.

“It’s dance music with a glam rock shuffle beat….” the glam rocker said of the single “For Your Entertainment” in an interview with On-Air With Ryan Seacrest.

Earlier this week, the Idol runner-up released widey-criticized cover for his upcoming album. Adam’s For Your Entertainment will be released Nov. 23.

Britney Spears is hoping “3” is her new lucky number. After teasing us with snippets and set photos over the past few weeks, the pop princess unveiled the official music video for her raunchy hit single “3″ on Friday morning.

The song, which BritneySpears.com describes as a “racy paean to the joys of three-way sex,” is part of Britney’s latest Greatest Hits compilation, The Singles Collection, available Nov. 24.

YouTube’s webcast of U2’s live concert from the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California last Sunday was watched by nearly 10 million people, the video site’s largest streaming event ever.

The full 2 1/2-hour concert is available on YouTube. The rebroadcast video has been watched by more than 1.1 million viewers.

Chris Maxcy, head of music partnerships at YouTube, called the event “a big win” for the site.

The Man still had “it.” The highly anticipated Michael Jackson concert documentary This Is It has already set a record!

The Sony film grossed an estimated $2.2 million at the North American box office during Tuesday night’s limited theater release, Variety reports. This is a record for a Tuesday October release.

On Wednesday, This Is It opened in 3,500 theaters and IMAX screens nationwide, in addition to thousands more overseas.

We’ve been feenin’ for some dish on Brit — celebrity gossip just isn’t the same without Ole Baldie. Have you seen official promo for the star’s new Greatest Hits Compilation. In celebration of the 10th anniversary of Britney’s debut on the music scene, Jive Records will be releasing a new collection of Brit’s career charttoppers on Nov. 24.

The 17-track Singles Collection will come in two editions – a standard version and the massive Ultimate Fan Box Set, which include each of the star’s 29 singles in its own slip sleeve case plus a DVD of her music videos.
