Metallica Fans Boycott Band’s First Israeli Concert In 10 Years

Metallica fans in Israel have vowed to boycott the band’s upcoming show in Tel Aviv amid complaints of soaring ticket prices. The hitmakers are scheduled to play at Ramat Gan Stadium on May 22 in what will be the band’s first concert in Israel since 1999. But the news has promoted outrage from fans who argue that tickets should be selling for significantly cheaper than the $159 minimum asking price.

Gorillaz “Stylo” Music VIDEO, Featuring Bruce Willis

Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett are back with more of their animated band, Gorillaz. The group has released the video for their newest single, “Stylo” — featuring a guest appearance from actor Bruce Willis. “Stylo” is the first track from the Gorillaz’s forthcoming album Plastic Beach, out March 8.

Guru Dead? Gang Starr Rapper Gravely Ill After Cardiac Arrest

Guru, one half of pioneering Brooklyn-based hip-hop group Gang Starr, is in a coma in a New York City hospital after suffering a heart attack over the weekend. Guru is best known for penning hits such as “Words I Manifest,” “Discipline,” and “Just To Get A Rep” with legendary producer DJ Premier.

“We Are The World” Spanish Version Music VIDEO (“Somos El Mundo”)

Emilio and Gloria Estefan have adapted a Spanish version of the much anticipated, but critically-panned “We Are The World” remake to lend their hand to earthquake relief efforts in Haiti. The song is titled “Somos El Mundo.” It made it’s world premiere on last night’s Spanish-language chatfest El Show de Cristina, and stars Latin celebs like Shakira, Marc Anthony, David Archuleta, Pitbull, Daddy Yankee, Ricky Martin, Enrique Iglesias, and a host of others.

The Backstreet Boys are set to embark on a fan appreciation cruise that will hit the open seas this spring. The Orlando-based boy banders — who rose to fame in the ’90s with hits like “All I Have To Give” and “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” — took to their Twitter on Monday to announce that they are taking their show seaside with the first official Backstreet Boys Cruise.
