Gaga already hosted the extension of the network’s successful NewNowNext brand in 2008, and the quirky charttopper will return to the pop music hour next week to promote her forthcoming album, The Fame Monster — in stores Monday.

“Singer-songwriter Lady GaGa has become a pop culture sensation over the past year and has returned back to Logo where she first emerged as a pop culture trendsetter,” the network, who caters to programming for the gay-lesbian community, said in a release last week. “Lady Gaga had her first television appearance on Logo’s 2008 NewNowNext Awards where she performed her addictive debut single “Just Dance” and was nominated for the ArjanWrites.com: Brink of Fame: Song award. Her distinct look, sound and persona hinted at her emerging superstar status, and thus a perfect fit for the NewNowNext brand. With hits including “Just Dance,” “Poker Face,” “LoveGame” and “Paparazzi”, Lady Gaga returns with a brand new video titled “Bad Romance” off her new album titled “The Fame Monster.” “The Fame Monster” will hit stores November 23.”

Monday’s NewNowNext PopLab will also feature an appearance by RuPaul’s Drag Race season one winner, Bebe Zahara Benet, who will premiere her new music video, “I’m the Shit.”

Lady Gaga comes to NewNowNext PopLab this Monday@ 7PM on Logo. Other hosts of the program have included Kelly Clarkson, Nicole Scherzinger, and Keri Hilson.

All Hell broke loose on Long Island this afternoon. Roosevelt Field Mall, nestled in surburban Nassau County, New York, turned into a wild scene Friday after thousands of screaming adolescent fans showed up for an appearance by 15-year-old Canadian music sensation Justin Bieber that didn’t go quite as planned.

The teen idol’s planned performance at the Long Island mall was cancelled at the last minute Friday afternoon after the gaggle of Tweeners got out of control, say local police. Approximately 3,000 fans — some camped out since 7AM — showed up for the event which included an autograph signing at a store called Justice.

The event was canceled because the mall apparently did not have enough security people on hand at the mall to handle the crowd. After it became clear to the authorities and mall officials that the event had erupted in chaos, Bieber — who was celebrating the birth of his baby brother — Tweeted: “They are not allowing me to come into the mall. if you dont leave I and my fans will be arrested as the police just told us.” A few moments later he posted: “the event at roosevelt mall is cancelled. please go home. the police have already arrested one person from my camp. I dont want anyone hurt.”

That’s when sh-t got real.

At least one girl was taken out on a stretcher as over 1,000 fans crowded the shopping center, a Nassau County Police spokesperson said. There were no serious injuries, but several fans and parents suffered bumps and bruises in the melee.

“We saw people getting pushed, moms and dads,” one girl told ABC News. “We saw 10-year-old girls standing outside by themselves (after getting separated from their parents).”

“One mom broke her arm,” another girl added.

No arrests have been made. (Some people really need to learn how to behave with decorum in public! Shame on the parents who stood around twiddling their thumbs while their kids behaved like animals….)

The Jive Records recording artist, 16, will land her debut album, Just Like You, Dec. 1.

Look for the new mom to perform to strap on her “Louboutins” live at the 2009 American Music Awards, airing this Sunday night @ 8PM/ET on ABC.

The Gossip Girl actress teamed up with the platinum-selling, prison-bound Dwayne Carter on a track called “Make It Rain” — which ironically shares its name with the strip club anthem Weezy recorded with rapper Fat Joe in 2006.

“I sent him a couple of my songs,” Leighton told MTV of how her partnership with the Young Money boss developed. “He’s been diggin’ on them for a while. Then he heard ['Make It Rain'], and he was like, ‘All right, I’m gonna kill it’. [He's] really optimistic, and super supportive of me, which I’ve really, really appreciated so much.”

Leighton was amazed at how prolific Wayne was during their recording sessions: “It was like, literally, 4 o’clock in the morning. He was so sick – he didn’t even write anything down. He just, like, vibed to the music and dances. I don’t even know how he does it; he’s amazing.”

On Thursday, the online entertainment store announced that the eagerly-awaited album, which is scheduled for release on Nov. 23, has exceeded the record previously set by Japanese rock group Mr Children’s Supermarket Fantasy in 2008.

“Just eight months ago, no-one was aware of the talents of Susan Boyle. Now, she has generated more Amazon pre-order CD sales globally than any other artist,” Julian Monaghan, Head of Music at Amazon, said in statement praising the shy native Scott. “That is an incredible achievement and is testament to the fact that she has captured the hearts of people all over Britain, America and the rest of the world.”

Columbia Records Chairman Steve Barnett added: “One of the things that is so unique about Susan Boyle is her ability to touch people around the world. We’re excited that I Dreamed A Dream holds the new record for global pre-orders and that Amazon’s customers have supported her album in this way.”

Susan Boyle rose to prominence as a contestant on the British talent competition Britain’s Got Talent last spring. Susan lost her shot at the championship during the show’s finale. Instead, settling comfortably into second place behind popular dance troupe Diversity.
