Tina Turner has added several dates to the North American leg of her upcoming tour.

New additions to the schedule include dates in Dallas (October 26) and Houston (October 27), and show at New York’s Madison Square Garden on December 1

Beginning in January, the show will continue in Europe through next Spring.

Music legend Tina Turner, who will end her retirement and embark on a 2008 North American Tour this October, appeared on the CBS Early Show on Monday morning.

Rock legend Tina Turner has announced the itinerary for her 2008 North American Tour. The sixty-seven year old “We Don’t Need Another Hero” singer will hit the road this October, ending a seven hiatus from touring.

Tina Turner will return to the stage for the first time eight years in a live tour to kick off later this year, The Oprah Winfrey Show on May 8th.

Oprah Winfrey is going to Vegas, and she’s bringing legendary divas Cher and Tina Turner along for the ride. The Queen of Talk will hit Sin City next weekend to tape an exclusive performance special, featuring Cher and Tina, at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The Oprah Winfrey Show: Oprah, Cher and Tina In Vegas will air on Thursday, May 8th.

A bitter Britney Spears sat down for the 3.5 hour broadcast of the 2008 Grammy Awards on Sunday night, and the Grammy-winning pop tart had some interesting comments about the legendary duet featuring Tina Turner and Beyonce. (Video Here) While Brit loved the high-action from music icon Tina, the has-been jumped right on the chance to rip into Bey: “She sure knows how to toss her hair,” Britney is rumored to have stated. “Too bad she can’t dance as good as Tina — who’s old enough to be her grandmother!”

Can you say MTV Video Music Awards?! After Britney’s humiliating performance at MTV’s VMAs last fall, perhaps Britney should err on the side of caution when criticizing the dancing of someone who’s actually in shape.
