Tina Fey made a brief return to Saturday Night Live this weekend. Joined by Amy Poehler as Senator Hillary Clinton, the Emmy-nominated comedienne appeared as Alaska Governor Sarah Palin in a sketch on the Season Premiere of SNL on September 13.
Don’t forget to tune into the Season Opener of Saturday Night Live tonight. A source tells the Associated Press that it is “likely” Palin deadringer Tina Fey will portray the Alaska governor in a SNL sketch that will air later this evening.
Saturday Night Live alum and Sarah Palin look-alike Tina Fey is presently in discussions to play the Republican Vice Presidential nominee on the season premiere on SNL this Saturday night.
“There are discussions,” SNL executive Lorne Michaels told the New York Post of the likelihood that Fey will parody the Alaska governor on Thursday. “They’re ongoing.”
The Queen of Talk is in final discussion to star alongside small screen comedy queen Tina Fey on the November 6 episode of NBC’s 30 Rock.

NBC has released this promotional shot of Amy Poehler, 30 Rock star Tina Fey, and musical guest Carrie Underwood during the taping of promotions for this week’s edition of Saturday Night Live. SNL’s February 23rd airing will mark the sketch series’ first return to the air since the launch of last year’s WGA strike.
