RadarOnline.com is reporting that the two actress are feuding because they’re both nominated for outstanding guest actress in a comedy at the 2009 Emmy Awards.
Tina was nominated for her much-talked-about impersonation of Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live during the 2008 US presidential election, while Jennifer received a nomination for outstanding guest appearance for her spot on NBC’s 30 Rock as Tina Fey’s old college roommate-turned-Jack’s-psycho stalker. In a new interview with filmmaker John Ziegler, Governor Sarah Palin cries that she was treated unfairly by the press during the 2008 presidential campaign.
She even blasted comedienne Tina Fey, who appeared as Palin in a series of popular SNL parodies, as well as journalist Katie Couric, who stumped the elected official with the question “What newspapers do you read?”
“I did see that Tina Fey was named entertainer of the year and Katie Couric’s ratings have risen…That’s a little bit perplexing, but it also says a great deal about our society.”
“…Katie, you’re not the center of everybody’s universe.”
Palin’s interview with appear in the conservative documentary How Obama Got Elected.
