Fashion fans, rejoice! The Chicago Tribune has learned that Project Runway’s Tim Gunn will join Rachel Bilson (formerly of The O.C.) on the 100th episode of How I Met Your Mother airing later this month.

Lindsay Lohan is “extremely knowledgeable” about fashion, according to fashion guru Tim Gunn.

The 23-year-old actress starred as a guest judge on the sixth season of Lifetime’s Project Runway and has been lauded by the program’s consultant.

“I was surprised and pleased by how extremely knowledgeable about fashion and articulate Lindsay Lohan was,” he said. “She’s very young and can be portrayed in ways that aren’t all together flattering, and she was a true statesperson and really weighed in on the designers and what they were doing exceptionally well. And it was really a thrill to have her.”

Project Runway mentor Tim Gunn has criticized the fashion sense of warring couple Jon & Kate Gosselin, insisting the stars of TLC’s Jon & Kate Plus 8 represent the “slobification” of America.

“In his case, everything is too big… If you want to dress to feel as though you never got out of bed, then don’t get out of bed,” Gunn said speaking to Us Weekly.

Gunn added that he is “accepting” of Kate’s famous circa 1987 haircut, explaining: “If that’s the way she wants to present herself then she’s doing a good job.”

Project Runway’s Tim Gunn hasn’t been on a date in 26 years! While the openly gay Gunn swears he isn’t in the market for a new BF — sticking to the “I’m very happy being alone” mantra of many singles — Heidi Klum’s fashion-forward sidekick does confess that there’s one “silver fox” he wouldn’t mind breaking his relationship drought for — broadcast journalist Anderson Cooper!

Tim recently revealed that he has a “celebrity crush” on the host of CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360° — who has always been cryptic when it comes to addressing questions regarding his sexuality. Although the potential couple has yet to enjoy a first date, Tim admits the two are friends, who e-mail one another often.

“He’s fabulous,” Tim squeals. “I love his brain, looks, and style,” the fashionisto added with a smile. “We’ve actually been trying to have lunch for a year and a half,” he explains. “Both of us are so busy that we haven’t been successful doing it, but we exchange e-mails.”

Tim Gunn will make a cameo appearance on NBC’s weight-loss reality series The Biggest Loser on Tuesday, March 18th. The fashion guru will provide the big “losers” will tips on what frocks relate best to their slender new figures. Each contestant will receive a new hairstyle and outfit as part of the makeover episode.
