Tiger Woods put on his red shirt today….but wasn’t on the prowl for a Championship.
Woods finished the day at Merion Golf Club, just outside of Philadelphia, with his worst finish in an Open since he was an amateur in 1996. “There’s always a lesson to be learned in every tournament whether you win or lose,” Woods said Sunday after a final round. “I’ll look back at the things I did right and the things I did wrong. … I did a lot of things right. Olympic skier, Lindsey Vonn, is opening up about her relationship with Golf superstar, Tiger Woods.
“It’s weird. I’m used to it in the ski world, but not my personal life. So, it’s been difficult and interesting,” Vonn told press over the weekend. “I mean, it’s weird when people are taking pictures of you when you don’t know it. It’s a little bit — a lot — intrusive. After responding to some racists tweets from fellow PGA star, Sergio Garcia, Tiger Woods was also spotted with his new girlfriend and kiddos.
Tiger, who shares custody of his two children with ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, was photographed today with Lindsey Vonn and his children, Charlie, 4 and Sam, 6. Tiger, dressed in a very casual all Nike outfit, appeared stoic as he was photographed walking through a parking lot at Palm Beach Elementary school. Read the rest of this entry »
Sergio Garcia has found himself in a bit of hot water, following an off-hand, racist comment that was directed towards fellow PGA star, Tiger Woods.
Sergio was asked while appearing at a European Tour event, if he’d have dinner with Tiger Woods at the upcoming U.S. Open. Sergio responded, “We’ll have him round every night…we will serve fried chicken.”
Tiger took to Twitter to respond to the comments saying, “The comment that was made wasn’t silly. It was wrong, hurtful and clearly inappropriate…The comment that was made wasn’t silly. It was wrong, hurtful and clearly inappropriate…”

Looks like Tiger Woods is off the market again…well we won’t go there because I guess during his marriage to Elin, he was technically never “off the makret”…..anyway
Tiger confirnmed via his Facebook page today that he is romantically involved with Olympic skiier, Lindsey Vonn. We had reported earlier that Tiger and Vonn were getting closer and when she suffered a tragic skiing accident last month, Tiger’s personal jet brought her back to the United States.
“This season has been great so far and I’m happy with my wins at Torrey and Doral,” Tiger writes on his Facebook page. “Something nice that’s happened off the course was meeting Lindsey Vonn. Lindsey and I have been friends for some time, but over the last few months we have become very close and are now dating. We thank you for your support and for respecting our privacy. We want to continue our relationship, privately, as an ordinary couple and continue to compete as athletes.”
