Hip-hop star T.I. has stepped into the lab and teamed up with Justin Timberlake on a new collaboration, dubbed “If I Talk.”

The track will likely find its way onto J.T.’s upcoming third solo album, set for release in 2009.

T.I. and Rihanna joined forces for a performance medley at the 25th Annual MTV Video Music Awards.

Pink, Paramore, T.I., and Rihanna are the latest round of performers scheduled to take the stage at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards next month. T.I. will be making his first appearance at a major awards show since his arrest on gun charges last June.

Performers already announced include the Jonas Brothers and Lil Wayne.

Rihanna is slated to sing her No. 1 hit “Disturbia”; Paramore will treat fans to a performance of “Misery Business,” and Pink will turn things out with her latest single, “So What.”

“I can’t wait,” Pink said Thursday, adding that she plans to “blow stuff up.”
