Samantha Harris is bound for Broadway.
The two-time Emmy-nominated co-host of Dancing With The Stars will make her debut on the Great White Way this summer, when she takes on the role of the murderous Roxie Hart in the Tony Award-winning musical Chicago.
Samantha’s Broadway run begins July 7 and runs through August 16.

Nathan Lane, star of The Producers, and newlywed Bebe Neuwirth will play Gomez and Mortica Addams in new Broadway musical based on the once popular animated series The Addams Family.
The Addams Family: The Musical will open on The Great White Way on April 10, 2010.

Billy Elliot, this season’s biggest musical hit, dominated the 2009 Tony Award nominations Tuesday morning. The show picked up fifteen nods — based on the popular British movie about a coal miner’s son who dreams of becoming a dancer– more than any other show this year.
And there are quite a few celebrity nominees, too. Music legends Dolly Parton and Elton John are both up for Tonys this year. Dolly is nominated for Best Original Score (Music and/or Lyrics) Written for the Theatre were Parton, for 9 to 5: The Musical, while Elton John received a nod for Billy Elliot, The Musical.
The Tony Awards will be broadcast live on CBS from Radio City Music Hall on Sunday, June 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

The upcoming musical production Spider-Man, Turn Off The Dark is holding open casting calls across the country beginning this week.
The show, set to open on Broadway on February 18, 2010, is on the hunt for “performers with dynamic rock/pop voices including those with experience in bands and as solo performers. Regardless of experience, anyone who thinks they might be qualified is encouraged to audition.”

John Stamos and Gina Gershon will star in the first Broadway revival of Bye Bye Birdie.
The 1963 musical, loosely based on Elvis Presley’s decision to join the Army, follows rock ‘n’ roll star named Conrad Birdie who is being drafted into the Army and the effect his departure has on the teenagers in a small Ohio town.
John will play the Conrad’s manager, Albert Peterson, and Gina will portray the manager’s secretary.
On Thursday, Roundabout Theatre Company artistic director Todd Haimes revealed that Birdie will open at one of its theaters this fall.

Jessica Biel has been cast in a summer production of Guys And Dolls, a representative for the star has confirmed.
The Easy Virtue star has signed on for at least three summer performances as Sarah Brown in the musical, which will hit the stage at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on July 31.
