Oscar-nominated star Anne Hathaway dished on having her first on-stage lesbian kiss in Twelfth Night in an interview with the ladies of The View on Thursday.

Lauren Conrad says The Hills are alive with the smell of bologna! The fashionista — and now author of the young adult novel L.A. Candy – appeared on The View this morning where she confessed that the “reality” series that made her famous often features staged settings.

Wow, it just isn’t Speidi’s day, is it?

Whoopi Goldberg lit into The Hills’ Heidi and Spencer Pratt on The View Monday after the couple revealed they had not read their contract prior to joining the NBC reality show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!. Mama Whoopi warned the newlyweds that stupid moves like that could cost them much more than public ridicule in the years to come.

“As much business as you guys have done, you with the hairspray and the cleaning stuff and everything that you’re doing, you better get yourself together or you’re gonna be in the street,” Whoopi said. “You’re gonna have to take responsibility. You’re too old now. See, last year was cute. Now, you’re adults.”

In response, Spencer said from now on he and the wife will read all of their contracts.

“We do have a lot of things that we’re planning,” Heidi chimed in. “We do have a future.”

Joy Behar is getting her own television talk show — but don’t worry, The View’s token “funny gal” won’t be living her place at the table. The Joy Behar Show will premiere this fall on CNN’s HLN network.

The usually levelheaded Whoopi Goldberg unleashed her inner Native New Yorker on conservative commentator Glen Beck on The View Wednesday.

The Oscar-winning star coined a new catchphrase on today’ show, calling Beck a “lying sack of dog mess” after the host of The Glen Beck Program publicly lied about his chance meeting with Whoopi and View creator Barbara Walters on an Amtrak train last week.

Last year, conservative right-winger Elisabeth Hasselbeck hit back at tabloid reports that she was leaving the ladies of The View for greener pastures at the more Republican-friendly FOX News Channel. These days, the pregnant mother of two is boo-hooing that series creator Babs Walters is trying to boot her from the buzzworthy daytime talk show — and you’ll never guess the name being tossed around as her possible replacement.

Move over Liz, there’s a new right-wing babe on the block.

Hey Daytime TV fans, don’t forget that Sherri Shepherd, the mind-numbingly ditzy co-host of The View, will make a special appearance on MyNetworkTV’s WWE Friday Night SmackDown this Friday, May 1st. The event, taped at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Tuesday, features the 30 Rock guest star climbing into the as the United States Championship goes on the line.
