Vice-President Joe Biden On “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno” July 9
This Friday, July 9, Vice-President Joe Biden will appear on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno for the first time since Jan. 2009. The guest spot will be Biden’s third on NBC’s flagship late-night series. The former Delaware senator previously appeared on Tonight in 2007 and in 2008, shortly after becoming Barack Obama’s running mate.

Kevin Eubanks, Leno Bandleader, Says Farewell To “The Tonight Show” This Friday
Kevin Eubanks will say farewell to The Tonight Show with Jay Leno tonight, ending his 18-year reign as leader of The Tonight Show band. Eubanks — who will also be Friday musical guest — says he’s leaving the late night scene to turn his focus back to his recording career.
He’ll be replaced by ex-American Idol bandleader Rickey Minor, who’ll make his debut on Tonight Monday, June 7.

It’s official: The Tonight Show with Jay Leno is looking for a new bandleader.
After 18 years, musician Kevin Eubanks has announced that he is leaving NBC’s flagship late-night program. Rubanks made the announcement during a taping of The Tonight Show, telling host Jay Leno that he was ready for a change of pace in his career.
