Daniel Radcliffe has joined a long list of celebrity who have received The Simpsons treatment. The Harry Potter actor has agreed to lend his voice to a spoof of the blockbuster film Twilight during The Simpsons’ 21st annual Treehouse of Horror Special, airing in 2010.

Daniel will play Edmund, a young vampire that captures Lisa’s heart. But Homer and Edmund’s father, Dracula, try to break up the romance, Simpsons executive producer Al Jean told Entertainment Weekly Wednesday.
“Daniel was very excited to do The Simpsons. And we kept trying to ask him for secrets from the upcoming Harry Potter movie until we realized that they were all in the books.”

Homer’s coming to Fairview! Well, not exactly. Dan Castellaneta, the actor who has voiced TV’s Homer Simpson for more than 20 years, will guest star on an upcoming episode of Desperate Housewives, TV Guide has learned.

Castellaneta will play the pilot of a small plane that crashes down on Wisteria Lane during a Christmas party on the award-winning ABC dramedy. Producer Marc Cherry has confirmed that several Housewives characters will die as a result of the plane crash.
Marge Simpson — yep, the blue-haired mother of three — is the latest television star stripping down for a nude centerfold on the pages of Playboy Magazine.

Rogen lends his voice and writing talent to a character in the airing this Sunday, kicking off the 21st season of the animated classic. He’s only the second visiting celebrity to both write and act on an episode of The Simpsons, joining comic Ricky Gervais, who did the same thing in 2006.

Chris Martin is coming to The Simpsons. The Coldplay frontman is the latest celebrity to secure a guest appearance on The Simpsons, Entertainment Weekly has learned.

The “Clocks” star will make a cameo appearance as himself on the long-running animated series after the dimwitted Homer Simpson wins a million dollars in the lottery and hires Chris to perform a private concert.
The 21st season of The Simpsons premieres on FOX this fall, and will also feature guest appearances by Sarah Silverman and Oscar-nominated actress Anne Hathaway.

The Simpsons will be immortalized on stamps to be issued by the U.S. Postal Service later this year.
The 44-cent first-class stamps, designed by Simpsons creator and executive producer Matt Groening, will feature Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie Simpson.
Be on the lookout for a sneak peek of the stamps, which will be unveiled April 9. The stamps will also help celebrate the show becoming television’s longest-running primetime comedy as it marks its 20th anniversary this year.
