Twitter was blazing last night with updates about WWE’s biggest night, Wrestlemania.
Fans were sick waiting to see the return of The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) to the wrestling ring, as he prepared to battle John Cena and what many to believe the last match of the wrestling career of HHH and The Undertaker.
The event in Miami, Florida pulled in 78,000 attendance fans, no official word yet on the pay per view numbers, but the WWE expects them to be huge. The biggest moment of the night? For many fans that moment came as HHH and The Undertaker walked up the ramp together, after their match, leaving the big man’s perfect 29-0 record intact.
The Rock’s going country! Variety reports that WWE superstar and Fast Five star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been tipped to produce and star in a biopic of trailblazing country music star Charley Pride.
Finally — The Rock has come back to World Wrestling Entertaiment! After a seven year hiatus from the ring that saw him working as Hollywood’s Go-To Action Guy, muscle man Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson returned to his wrestling roots during a live broadcast of WWE Raw on Monday. The People’s Champ made his big return, announcing that he’s back to tackle Justin Bieber for the title of The Most Electrifying Man in Entertainment, to the thrill of the screaming Anaheim audience.
And in a real treat for Sports Fanatics, Rocky will host Wrestlemania 28, going down this April!
This just in: Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will join equally-chiseled star Vin Diesel and Paul Walker in the latest installment of the ever-popular Fast & Furious franchise, a rep for the former pro wrestler confirmed on Friday.
Still no word on what role The Rock will play when Fast Five speeds into theaters next year.
